Miles Morland Foundation Writing Scholarship 2026

The Miles Morland Foundation Writing Scholarship 2026 provides a financial grant to authors writing in English, with the aim of allowing Scholars to dedicate time to producing a first draft of a completed book. The scholarship is open to writers born in Africa or whose parents were born in Africa, and includes a grant of £18,000 paid monthly over 12 months, with a possible additional grant for non-fiction writers requiring more research time, paid over up to 18 months.

Open to anyone writing in the English language who was born in Africa, or both of whose parents were born in Africa. There are no age restrictions for applicants.
