Revisiting the History of Quantum Physics

A WE-Heraeus Symposium convening researchers to reflect on the centenary and development of quantum physics and its social and cultural contexts. The meeting will cover the origins of quantum physics around 1900, the construction of quantum mechanics in the 1920s, developments in the latter twentieth century, and recent debates and applications. It gathers international experts and is scheduled as part of Berlin Science Week 2025. The symposium takes place at the WissenschaftsForum Berlin.
