Ettore Majorana WE Heraeus School

A WE Heraeus summer school on quantum technology covering quantum communication, information, and computation with emphasis on photon-based technologies and on-chip to long-distance applications. The programme includes high-level lectures, poster sessions and opportunities for discussion with invited experts. It is intended to provide participants with an in-depth overview of experiments, protocols and technological challenges in current quantum research. The school will focus on fabrication techniques, semiconductor quantum dots, parametric conversion sources and NV centers.

The school is addressed in particular to PhD students and post-docs in Physics, Engineering and Mathematics.
