Foundations and New Methods of Theoretical Physics 2024

A WE-Heraeus Summer School for graduate students focusing on quantum field theory, particle physics and (quantum) gravity, with attention to related areas of theoretical and mathematical physics. The programme combines three hours of morning lectures with afternoon small-group exercises guided by the lecturers, aiming to provide hands-on experience and broaden methods relevant to modern theoretical physics. The atmosphere is informal and encourages lively discussions. The school ran from 2024-09-02 to 2024-09-13 at Klosterhof zur Post, Bayrischzell.

The school is for graduate students and is particularly intended to help soon-to-be postdocs broaden their view and skills.
