Information

Applications are open for scholarships to cover online graduate certificates offered by ASU, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation. The programs are part-time, online, and provide ASU credits; selected participants may also be entered into the application process for fully-funded online Master’s degrees. The scholarships aim to develop leadership and contribute to social and economic growth in home countries, with emphasis on women, refugees and displaced persons, and people with disabilities.

Eligibility

Applicants must be citizens of an African country, be aged 18-33 on or before the deadline, demonstrate leadership and service in their community, show academic excellence and financial need, hold an undergraduate degree conferred by July 2026, and have no prior or current master’s degree enrollment before or during the program.
