The Emerging Political Leaders Fellowship (EPLF) is a non-partisan political leadership development programme by The Bridge Leadership Foundation (TBLF). It aims to identify, nurture, and prepare young Nigerians for ethical, competent, and people-centred leadership at local, state, and national levels, through a structured six-month learning journey with leadership training, mentorship, and practical exposure to Nigeria’s political and governance ecosystem.

Benefits

Access to a political leadership development programme, training by a faculty of leaders and experts, group mentorship, opportunity to design and implement a civic engagement project, capstone project development and policy brief presentation, EPLF Alumni Network membership, increased visibility within Nigeria’s political ecosystem.

Eligibility

Applicants must be Nigerian and actively engaged or interested in mainstream politics, with demonstrated leadership, service, and civic responsibility; aged 25–35 (36–45 may be considered with a strong application) and meet statutory requirements to run for public office in Nigeria; no criminal record.
