BFN Black Founders Network Canada 2026

Information

The BFN Black Career Advancement Program (BCAP) provides tailored employment readiness support to equip Black youth with the skills and knowledge for various career pathways and to fill hiring gaps in Black-led companies. The program includes 12 weeks of hands-on learning and coaching, practical, project-based training, tailored employment readiness support, and a real-work placement with paid opportunities. Participants receive mentorship from industry experts and a placement allowance funded by BFN.

Eligibility

Be between 18 and 35 years old; identify as Black or of African descent; be legally authorized to work in Canada; have basic computer literacy and a strong willingness to learn; be able to commit 10–15 hours per week for the full 12 weeks; be ready to show up, grow, and build something great.
