About this opportunity
The English Language Assistants Program in France (ALVE) invites applicants to work as English Language Assistants in France for the 2026-2027 school year, providing an opportunity to teach English in French schools for seven months. The program targets young adults for international work experience and encourages candidates to pursue roles through Alliances Françaises or the Institut Français in Nigeria. Shortlisted candidates may be interviewed in person or online in locations near their residence.

Eligibility
Candidates must be Nigerian citizens, aged 20-30 at the start of the mission, have completed secondary education in Nigeria, and have completed at least four years of university studies; a minimum B1 level in French is required and candidates must be native English speakers.
