The develoPPP Ventures Ideas Competition 2026 for young Entrepreneurs

Applications are open for the 2026 develoPPP Ventures Ideas Competition. The competition provides non-dilutive capital of 100,000 euros to young companies that are scaling innovative business models in selected emerging markets and contributing to the United Nations SDGs. The call for applications runs from May 15 to June 30, 2026 and focuses on firms registered in or planning to register in targeted African countries including Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa and Tanzania.

Non-dilutive capital of EUR 100,000 (with potential top-up), plus support from DEG Impulse and GIZ and local expert guidance during the process.

Your company must be registered in the target country (Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa or Tanzania) or plan to register there prior to the investment; you must be pursuing an innovative, scalable business model that is already generating initial revenues and contributes to the SDGs.
