About this opportunity

Applications are open for Youth Technical Experts to assess and document how African Union Member States and regional bodies implement the African Youth Charter @20. The initiative aims to inform continental policy briefs and contribute to the APRM Africa Governance Report 2027, focusing on youth governance, inclusion, and development. Selected experts will receive a stipend and support for the appraisal process scheduled for May–August 2026, with various incentives and opportunities to contribute to policy outputs and networking across Africa.

Eligibility

Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old, nationals of an AU Member State, and active in civil society, youth networks, or related organisations with an interest in youth governance and policy analysis.
