The DAWN Fellowship Programme 2026 for young women feminists from the Global South

The DAWN Fellowship Programme provides a monthly stipend and mentorship for young women feminists from the Global South to develop a project on the political economy of gender-based violence and conflict. The fellowship supports research, advocacy, mobilisation, resistance, or creative expression with a focus on conflict-affected contexts in Sudan, Palestine, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

Financial support (stipend), mentorship and networking, dissemination opportunities to present and publish findings via DAWN platforms.

Applicants must be women feminists under 40, from the Global South, with a commitment to feminist principles and methodologies. Proposals may include research, advocacy, mobilisation, resistance, or creative expression and must engage with conflict-affected contexts in Sudan, Palestine, and the DRC.
