About this opportunity
The European Parliament’s Sakharov Fellowship 2026 offers up to 14 human rights defenders from non-EU countries a two-week intensive training in Brussels and another location in an EU Member State. The programme provides an induction to EU policies and human rights mechanisms, meetings with EU institutions and a range of workshops on advocacy, safety and documentation of human rights violations, along with space for networking and individual advocacy.

Eligibility
Candidates should have a proven record in campaigning for human rights in an NGO or other organisation or in an individual capacity, and have a high level of English to follow and contribute to the programme.
