The AFD’s Social & Inclusive Business Camp (SIBC 2026) for young East African Social Entrepreneurs.

The Social & Inclusive Business Camp (SIBC 2026) is an acceleration and capacity-building program for impact-driven entrepreneurs based in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, and Tanzania. It combines online coaching with an in-person bootcamp in Nairobi to help projects scale and prepare for fundraising, with a focus on energy transition and related sub-sectors. Participants join a cohort that includes mentoring and networking with international experts and investors.

Hybrid program including 6 months of online coaching, a 1-week intensive bootcamp in Nairobi, mentoring from experienced entrepreneurs and experts, and networking opportunities with an international community and potential investors.

Applicants must hold a high-responsibility position within their organisation, be legally registered in at least one targeted African country, have the organisation active for at least 3 years, have a social and environmental mission related to energy transition, have income from a commercial activity, and be developing in new territories at national or international level.
