The Youth Employment Service (YES) SMME Development Programme offers 12-month work experiences for unemployed young South Africans to become future managers, skilled professionals, and entrepreneurs. The initiative provides funding, training, and business development support to help participants move from earning to owning, including access to seed funding opportunities, mentorship, and accounting and legal guidance.
