It is designed for young South Africans and offers a structured work placement with a monetary stipend as part of the programme.

South African youth aged 18-29 as of 1 May 2026, with matric or a post-matric qualification, currently unemployed, who are black according to the BBBEE definition, and who have not participated in a YES Programme with another organisation.
