DAAD Hilde Domin Scholarship Programme 2026/2027 for At-Risk Students and Researchers

The DAAD Hilde Domin Scholarship Programme supports students and doctoral candidates from around the world who are at risk of being denied educational or other rights in their country of origin. The programme funds a degree course of personal choice at a German higher education institution and provides a scholarship sufficient to cover necessary costs during study or research stay, including health and liability insurance and travel allowances. Funding is available for master’s and doctoral studies with duration up to 24 months and 48 months respectively.

Monthly scholarship, health/accident/personal liability insurance, travel allowance, possible language course support, additional financial benefits.

Target group includes students aiming for a master’s degree and doctoral candidates worldwide who are at risk of losing educational or other rights in their country of origin.

Nominations by nominating institutions can be submitted online; applications are accepted within specified nomination and application periods.
