About this opportunity

The MuseumsLab 2026 Fellowship Programme is an African–European joint learning programme for emerging museum, heritage and art professionals. The programme starts online in May 2026 and continues onsite in Berlin and Kigali, bringing together Fellows, scholars, practitioners and mentors to explore the history, present and future of museums and to exchange knowledge and best practices.

Benefits & funding

Travel and accommodation during onsite modules, visa reimbursement, health insurance reimbursement, daily allowance during onsite modules, and programme-related entrance fees.

Eligibility

African and European museum professionals with at least two years of experience in the museum, heritage or art sector and a relation to the programme theme; English language proficiency is essential.
