The East Africa AI & Digital Rights Training for Advocates is a fully funded regional training program designed to equip legal professionals in East Africa with knowledge and tools at the intersection of technology, law, and human rights. It covers data protection, privacy, freedom of expression online, surveillance, and AI governance, with a focus on advocacy, litigation, and policy reform. Participants gain access to training, a professional network, and certification upon completion.

Open to qualified lawyers and legal advocates based in East Africa, and individuals with demonstrated interest or experience in digital rights, constitutional law, human rights, or technology law, who can commit to the full duration of the program.
