The International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition is an educational science competition for students worldwide to test their astronomy and astrophysics skills. Participants can win cash prizes and telescopes, and all participants receive certificates. The competition also includes national awards for top participants from each country.

Application

The qualification round consists of five astronomy problems. To qualify for the Pre-Final Round in May 2026, participants must achieve the required score based on age group; the submission deadline for the Qualification Round is April 17, 2026.
