The ODI Fellowship Scheme places early career economists and statisticians as public sector civil servants on two-year contracts in low- and middle-income countries, working in ministries, central banks, and related institutions. Fellows are typically employed as local civil servants and report to local managers across a range of government and regulatory bodies.

Eligibility
Open to candidates who have a master’s degree or PhD in economics, statistics or a related field; suitable specialised qualifications at postgraduate level are also considered.
