About this opportunity

The Merck Africa Research Summit (MARS) aims to bring together researchers from across Africa to discuss the generation, sharing and dissemination of research data and to prepare for Africa’s development as a hub for scientific innovation. The summit focuses on building research capacity in African health research, with special attention to Ebola and emergent infectious diseases, and showcases innovative African research initiatives.

Eligibility

Abstracts are invited from final year African PhD students and young investigators involved in HIV, Ebola and other infectious disease research.

How to apply

Submit abstract with author and co-authors, descriptive title, keywords, and select topic; submission requires a copy of passport at a later stage.
