Santa Fe Institute Complex Systems Summer School Journalism Fellowship 2026

The Santa Fe Institute Complex Systems Summer School Journalism Fellowship 2026 provides two accomplished journalists with a residential, immersive experience to explore complex-systems science. Fellows participate in SFI’s Complex Systems Summer School, with lectures and labs taught by world-renowned faculty, followed by a self-directed week at SFI’s main campus to interact with scientists.

Stipend for the duration, travel reimbursement, housing, and residency at SFI’s Complex Systems Summer School with opportunities to engage with scientists.

Open to national and international journalists. Must have at least seven years of experience, familiarity with complexity science, and a clear articulation of how the Fellowship will advance reporting.
