Summer School 2026

A ten-day summer school on astronomy and astrophysics organised by the Indian Institute of Astrophysics. The programme includes lectures, tutorials and demonstrations delivered by IIA faculty and covers topics such as exoplanets, solar physics, galaxies, instrumentation and cosmology. It is aimed at advanced undergraduate and postgraduate students and provides exposure to research in astronomy and astrophysics. The 2026 edition is scheduled to be held at KSO from 8 to 17 June 2026.

Applications are invited from students who are in the pre-final year of their M.Sc/Integrated M.Sc./Integrated BS-MS (in Physics/Astronomy)/B.E/B.Tech.; the page also states students currently pursuing their M.Sc or B.Tech. final year in disciplines of Astronomy/Physics/Mathematics/Engineering may apply.
