About this opportunity
Proposals are invited for the third meeting of the Annual Graduate Colloquium in Middle Eastern, Islamic, and Ottoman Studies (MEIOS) to be held online. The Colloquium welcomes papers related to the contemporary Middle East, Islamic Studies and Ottoman Studies across multiple disciplines, and aims to provide a multidisciplinary forum for advanced PhD students and scholars to present ongoing research and receive feedback. A modest honorarium will be paid for papers accepted and published on the Maydan website.

Eligibility
Advanced Ph.D. students who have already passed their doctoral examinations at the time of application, and scholars whose expertise closely align with accepted papers.
How to apply
Submit an approx. 250-word abstract with tentative title, a short CV, and the name of the proposed discussant; proposals may be for individual papers or pre-organized panels.
