The University of Michigan invites applications to its three-year postdoctoral fellowship program for recent PhDs in humanities, arts, sciences, and professions who wish to pursue research while teaching. Fellows are appointed as Assistant Professors and Postdoctoral Scholars for three-year terms beginning in 2027, with a stipend and additional benefits, plus an Arts Initiative pilot in relevant fields.
Benefits
Stipend of $63,000 per year, health/dental/life insurance eligibility, $3,000 in research assistance annually, and teaching responsibilities during the fellowship.
Eligibility
Applicants must have Ph.D. or comparable professional/arts degree and have completed the degree between June 1, 2024, and August 24, 2027; non-U.S. citizens are eligible to apply.
