USIP Peace Scholar Fellowship Program 2025-26

The USIP Peace Scholar Fellowship program provides non-residential scholarships to PhD students enrolled at U.S. universities who are working on their dissertations. Fellows receive a stipend and participate in an in-person annual workshop in Washington, D.C., with funding and networking opportunities to support research on international relations, conflict studies, and related fields.

Stipend up to $20,000 in 3 installments; in-person annual workshop in Washington, D.C.; networking opportunities and residence in the United States during the fellowship period.

Candidates must have completed all required coursework of Ph.D. and examinations and have an approved dissertation research proposal.
