USIP-DSCU Summer Scholar Fellowship Program 2025

The USIP-DSCU Summer Scholar Fellowship Program is a three-month, non-residential research fellowship that supports Ph.D. candidates conducting policy-relevant research related to security cooperation. The program aims to produce research, analysis, and lessons learned to deepen understanding for scholars and policymakers, with up to four Summer Scholars funded.

Stipend up to $15,000; non-residential three-month research fellowship; opportunity to contribute to policy-relevant research and findings.

Open to Ph.D. candidates who have completed all required classwork and comprehensive exams; non-U.S. citizens are eligible to apply; all applicants must be Ph.D. candidates at the time of application.

Applications must be submitted online through the FLUXX portal; required items include a research application, an academic CV, and a letter of recommendation from the dissertation advisor, all in English.
