Academic German Year 2026/2027

The Academic German Year is an intensive German language course organized by the University of Passau’s Language Centre and International Office. It targets international students who have very little or no knowledge of German and who are aiming for a degree programme at the University of Passau. The course runs from October 2026 to September 2027, with five days of classes per week and preparation to pass an official German language proficiency test. The course has a total cost of 3,990 EUR and no scholarships are available; accommodation assistance and additional student services are provided by the university as described on the course page.
