Information

The OCA Summer Internship Program 2026 offers a ten-week internship in Washington, D.C., providing opportunities to work in the public sector and engage with issues affecting Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities. Interns will work full-time at nonprofits, federal agencies, congressional offices, or other organizations, with weekly workshops and events related to AANHPI issues. The program includes professional work experience, leadership development, and participation in OCA activities and alumni networks.

Benefits

Stipend, professional work experience, networking and leadership development, access to the OCA alumni network, one year of free OCA membership after completion.

Eligibility

Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students (or recent graduates within one year), must be at least an incoming second-year student by the start of the internship, and must be interested in AANHPI issues. Non-U.S. citizens may apply if eligible to work; internal staff and certain related relations are restricted.
