Berlin Graduate School for Global and Transregional Studies (BGTS)

The Berlin Graduate School for Global and Transregional Studies (BGTS) is the full-time doctoral programme of the Cluster of Excellence 'Contestations of the Liberal Script' (SCRIPTS) at Freie Universität Berlin, in cooperation with several partner institutions. It offers an English-language doctoral programme focusing on global and transregional studies, with a three-year structure and a combination of independent research and multidisciplinary coursework. The programme begins in September each year, and the application period typically starts in December.
