EAC Student Mobility Scholarship 2026/2027

The East African Community (EAC) Student Mobility Scholarship Scheme (EAC-SMS) offers scholarships for Diploma, Undergraduate, Master’s and PhD studies at 28 universities across East Africa. It provides financial support for tuition, travel, health insurance and research costs, with a focus on student mobility within EAC Partner States.

Tuition waiver, examination fees (host universities); international travel, health insurance and research support (IUCEA).

Applicants must be nationals and residents of an EAC Partner State, apply to study in another EAC Partner State, meet university admission requirements, and demonstrate excellent academic performance (Master’s and PhD require higher qualifications).
