Earth Journalism Network Media Grants 2026–2027

The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) has opened applications for its 2026–2027 Media Grants to strengthen marine conservation journalism and reporting on countries' progress toward the 30×30 biodiversity target. The programme awards grants to eligible newsrooms and media organizations for reporting projects, journalist training, and capacity-building related to marine conservation and ocean governance.

Financial support up to US$10,000; opportunities for journalist training, newsroom collaboration, and capacity-building.

Applications are open to media organizations located in eligible coastal countries worldwide, with special priority given to applicants from Ghana, Mexico, and the Philippines.
