About this opportunity
The Preparing for Tomorrow grant call, run by the Trans-Atlantic Platform (T-AP), supports international, interdisciplinary research projects in social sciences and humanities to explore future societal challenges and resilience. Projects are expected to be collaborative and international, involving multiple countries and aiming to inform policy and decision-making.

Eligibility
Applications must form an international consortium with at least three eligible principal investigators from at least three different participating countries, with representation from both sides of the Atlantic.
How to apply
Applications are submitted through the German Research Foundation (DFG) Elan Portal by the Lead Principal Investigator on behalf of the consortium; submit the Letter of Intent by 8 July 2026 and the full proposal by 28 October 2026.
