Information

The Subir Chowdhury Postdoctoral Fellowship on Quality and Economics is an international research fellowship hosted by the LSE India Observatory. It is designed for early-career postdoctoral researchers in the social sciences to conduct advanced research focused on the relationship between people quality, governance, institutions, behaviour and economic development in Asian countries, especially India and Bangladesh. Fellows will spend three months at LSE conducting research and engaging with the India Observatory community, supported by academic resources and facilities.

Benefits

Monthly subsistence allowance up to £1,750; travel and related expenses support; shared workspace; access to LSE research facilities and academic resources.

Eligibility

Applicants must be early-career postdoctoral researchers who hold a completed PhD, work in the social sciences, and conduct research related to quality and economics in Asian nations (with priority for India and Bangladesh).
