New America Fellows Program Class of 2027

The New America Fellows Program is a one-year fellowship for thinkers—journalists, scholars, filmmakers, and public policy analysts. Fellows receive funding and a community to develop long-form projects across books, films, photo essays, longform storytelling, policy work, and related outputs. The program includes in-person and virtual gatherings, opportunities to publish with media partners, and access to New America's policy programs and alumni network.

Open to thinkers—journalists, scholars, filmmakers, and public policy analysts; applications from those based abroad for all or part of the year are accepted, including non-US citizens.
