Reception and Training for International Students from Conflict Zones

The University of Trento offers a Reception and Training program for international students from conflict zones, providing a pathway to continue university studies in a safe environment. The program includes a one-year Foundation Year with university courses, language courses, and skills training, followed by potential admission to degree programs. Selected students receive a comprehensive financial and support package to cover living costs, tuition, housing, travel, and services such as tutoring and psychological support.

Scholarship funds, tuition waiver, housing, meals, transportation, travel coverage, health insurance, academic tutoring, psychological and legal support, and access to university and local cultural activities.

Be a citizen of a non-EU country, reside outside Italy, come from a conflict-affected area, and be unable to pursue university studies safely due to conflict or instability. Must have completed at least 12 years of schooling or hold a qualification allowing access to higher education in Italy.
