The African Youth Ambassadors for Peace (AYAP) is a program under the African Union to empower African youth to participate in peace and security efforts on the continent. The 4th Cohort seeks young Africans aged 18 to 35 with demonstrated commitment to promoting peace and security, including applicants from displaced populations and persons with disabilities. AYAPs will advocate for peace, raise awareness of the AU CFYPS framework, and support regional peace and security initiatives.

Open to African youth aged 18 to 35 with a bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in peace and security, including advocacy and stakeholder engagement.
