About this opportunity
The Peace Corps invites applications for a two-year volunteer role as a Deaf Education Teacher in Ghana. Volunteers work in rural communities with students who have hearing impairments, teaching primary and junior high levels, and supporting literacy, STEAM integration, tutoring, and vocational skills. Eligibility
Required qualifications include a BA/BS in Special Education or Education with experience working with persons with disabilities, or a degree in any discipline with state certification in Special Education or direct experience teaching students with disabilities.
