The Applied Global Health Research: Stage One is a grant opportunity to support applied health research projects addressing global health challenges and inequities. It welcomes projects of varying sizes and aims to strengthen global health research capacity through multidisciplinary work. The funding is designed to support feasibility studies, late-stage intervention development, implementation research, health economics, and related activities, with a focus on LMIC partnerships and equitable collaboration with UK researchers.

Up to £2 million per project; support for salaries, consumables, equipment and capacity strengthening

Eligibility

LMIC-based research organisations or not-for-profit organisations with dedicated research capacity, and UK-based researchers working in equitable partnerships with LMIC researchers.
