CRI Technology Impact Award

The CRI Technology Impact Award provides seed funding to accelerate the development of novel technologies for cancer immunotherapy. It supports early-stage, pre-development concepts that have not yet been built or tested but could transform cancer immunotherapy and clinical application. Awards provide up to $600,000 over 2–4 years and are intended to bridge the gap between technology development and clinical translation. The programme encourages collaboration between technology developers and clinical cancer immunologists and does not fund clinical trials.

Up to $600,000 in seed funding over 2-4 years; up to 10% indirect costs in addition to awarded funds.

Applicants must hold a tenure-track position at a not-for-profit research center or institution; clinical cancer immunologists and technology developers are encouraged to collaborate. Co-Principal Investigators are eligible to apply.

Two-stage application: submit an online Letter of Intent by the LOI deadline; invited applicants submit a full proposal. LOIs and proposals are submitted via an online application system with required PDF attachments (research concept, CV, bibliography, etc.).
