About this opportunity
The United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD) invites applications for a research internship. The program targets outstanding students in the final year of undergraduate or master’s degree programs, or recent graduates, with backgrounds in social sciences, development studies, international relations or public policy. Interns will work in the Office of the Director for 3-6 months in a hybrid arrangement (Geneva, Switzerland and Bonn, Germany, or remote) from July to September 2025.
Benefits & funding
The organization will not bear travel and insurance expenses for the internship duration.
Eligibility
Applicants must be in the final year of an undergraduate degree or enrolled in a master's program, or have graduated with a degree in related fields, and be based in Geneva to attend in-person meetings.
