Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program 2025-2026 at American University of Beirut

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program provides full scholarships in partnership with the American University of Beirut (AUB). Scholars attend a series of workshops, courses, and fieldwork in addition to the degree courses. The program covers PhD studies and aims to prepare young people to be agents of change in their communities, countries, and regions.

Full scholarship including tuition, accommodation and living expenses; participation in workshops and fieldwork as part of the program.

PhD scholarships are open to citizens of countries on the African Continent and refugees living on the African Continent.

Submit the online graduate application to AUB, and select Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program under Financial Opportunities; complete both the AUB Graduate Application and the AUB Financial Aid Application by the deadline.
