The AFS Global STEM Academies 2026 Programme

The AFS Global STEM Academies 2026 Programme is a competitive, fully funded programme combining a virtual learning phase with an international study abroad component. It targets young people with interest in STEM, sustainability, and global learning, providing online coursework followed by a four-week in-person academy in host countries. Participants receive a certificate upon completion and develop skills in STEM, leadership, and intercultural communication.

Full scholarship covering online and travel components, flights, accommodation, meals, insurance, visa support, field trips, and a certificate upon completion.

Open to applicants who are citizens or legal residents of the listed countries, aged 15 to 17.5 at the start of the programme, proficient in English, with a valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
