Dalai Lama Fellows Program 2026

The Dalai Lama Fellows Program 2026 is a one-year fellowship for emerging changemakers. It provides a curriculum, coaching, group learning, and support to help Fellows implement an original field project addressing a local challenge, while fostering leadership, mindfulness, and systems-thinking. Fellows join a global network of peers and engage in contemplative practices throughout the year.

Curriculum, coaching, group learning, and support to implement the project; access to a global network of Fellows; participation in a Contemplative Leadership Assembly with travel, lodging, and meals covered.

Applicants must be 20-36 years old as of April 1, 2026, fluent in written and spoken English, and actively engaged with or planning a social change project to work on during the fellowship year.

Application consists of five parts: background and overview, short essays, video submission, resume/CV, and a letter of recommendation.
