Dalai Lama Fellowship Program 2025

Dalai Lama Fellows offers a one-year fellowship program for emerging changemakers. The program provides a curriculum, coaching, group learning, and support to help fellows apply what they are learning to their local work. Fellows implement an original field project addressing a local challenge and engage in contemplative practices and leadership development throughout the year.

Online leadership curriculum, 1-on-1 coaching, group learning, access to a global network, and a year-long mentorship plus a funded in-person Assembly in the United States.

Applicants must be 20-36 years old as of April 1, 2025, fluent in English, and actively engaged with or have clear plans for a social change project during the fellowship year.

Applications are open from October 15, 2024 to December 3, 2024 and consist of background information, short essays, a video submission, a resume/CV, and a letter of recommendation.
