The EESC Civil Society Prize recognises excellence in civil society initiatives within the European Union, awarding prizes to innovative initiatives that support people with mental health conditions and promote well-being. The prize aims to raise awareness of civil society contributions to European identity and citizenship. The 14th edition theme is 'Mental health', and up to five prizes are awarded per category, with travel and accommodation covered for winners to attend the ceremony.

Prize money (up to EUR 14,000 for first prize and EUR 9,000 for other prize levels) and travel/ accommodation for winners to attend the ceremony.
Eligibility
The Prize is open to civil society organisations officially registered within the European Union and acting at local, national, regional or European level. It is also open to individuals. Third-country nationals are eligible if legally resident in the EU.
