Compass Training Courses in Human Rights Education

The Compass Training Courses in Human Rights Education are strategic national or regional activities aimed at developing the competences of key multipliers for human rights education with young people. The courses support the implementation of the Council of Europe Charter on Education for Democratic Citizenship and Human Rights Education and related UN frameworks. Participants include trainers, facilitators in non-formal education, youth workers, teachers and youth leaders who will implement HRE projects or programmes after the course.

Travel and visa costs reimbursed; accommodation and lodging provided for the training seminar.

Eligible applicants are trainers or facilitators in non-formal education, youth organisations and associations, youth workers, young leaders, teachers or teacher trainers with a multiplying role, aged 18-30 and resident of countries party to the European Cultural Convention or nationals of countries in the North Africa and Middle East region related to the OHCHR collaboration.
