European Citizen’s Prize

The European Citizen’s Prize rewards projects and initiatives that promote EU cooperation and understanding. It recognizes activities contributing to closer integration, cross-border collaboration, or showcasing the EU values enshrined in the Charter of Fundamental Rights. Nominations can be submitted for projects carried out within EU Member States or partially within them, and the prize is offered by the European Parliament.

Citizens, groups of citizens, associations or organisations can apply or be nominated; applicants must be nationals of an EU Member State or reside legally on the territory of the Union at the date of submission.

Nominations can be submitted by eligible individuals or organisations.
