Bourse NAWA du Gouvernement Polonais (POLONISTA NAWA)

The NAWA Government Scholarship (POLONISTA NAWA) is a government-funded programme to support foreign students and researchers who wish to study or conduct research on Polish language and culture. It supports partial studies for one or two semesters or research projects at Polish universities or research institutions, with recipients often engaging in coursework, gathering material for theses, or improving Polish language skills while accessing university libraries and archives. Selected participants receive a monthly stipend during the approved study or research period and may conduct research projects across Polish institutions.

Monthly financial support, access to libraries and archives, opportunities to conduct research or undertake study in Polish language, literature, history, art history and related fields.

Open to foreign students, doctoral researchers, and scholars affiliated with universities or research institutions outside Poland who have an academic interest in Polish language, culture, literature or related fields.

Submit an online application via the official NAWA system; applicants select a Polish hosting university or research institution and follow the program's application instructions.
