Canada-CARICOM Teacher Leadership Scholarship Programme

The Canada-CARICOM Teacher Leadership Scholarship Programme is a mobility grant funded by Global Affairs Canada that enables teaching staff or international liaison/administration personnel from CARICOM member and associate states to undertake short exchanges for professional development, study visits, or research in Canadian postsecondary institutions. The programme supports professional development and enhancement of leadership and internationalization in higher education, with host institutions in Canada. It is offered under agreements between colleges, technical institutes, and universities in Canada and CARICOM member states.

Financial support for study or research in Canada, health insurance, travel and living allowances, and access to Canadian host institutions for professional development or research.

Applicants must be full-time employees as a teacher or international liaison/manager in a postsecondary institution in eligible CARICOM countries, and must hold citizenship or permanent residence status as appropriate for Canada.

Applicants must coordinate through their home institution to determine partner Canadian institutions and follow the partner-country process; institutions in Canada will submit applications on behalf of candidates.
